My name is Cristina Deneve and I am a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am trained in EMDR by HAP (Humanitarian Assistant Project.) I am culturally competent and I have experience working with diverse communities and individuals with different political, spiritual and gender orientations.
I understand the challenges of making changes in life. I have experienced firsthand the complexity of the acculturation process as an immigrant, which drove me to redefine my identity and transition careers. I have a bicultural marriage and I am a mother of three, which gives me awareness of the challenges of marital relationships and parenting. This knowledge, my education, and my experience in the field, have allowed me to help others on their journey.
